Being involved in service here at First has many benefits. You have the opportunity to get to know people, you get to actively participate in the life of the church, you can use your skills and gifts and you are blessed by giving of yourself!

- Greeter – arrive 15 minutes before an assigned service and welcome all who come to Sunday Worship as they arrive
- Usher – helps to maintain the atmosphere of the Worship Center by doing such things as handing out Worship folders, taking the offering, seating people, and assisting people at Communion
- Hospitality and Refreshments for Sunday morning – refreshments are served after every Sunday service. “Providers” bring the snacks and “Servers” are responsible to prepare and serve the snacks following a specific service
- Nursery Assistant- hold the babies and play with the toddlers during an assigned Sunday service
- Provide transportation to & from worship – help those who need a ride by picking them up and driving them home from church
- Altar care- prepare the communion trays for Sunday morning Worship
- Prayer team – pray through the prayer requests following a Sunday service or be on the prayer chain (phone or email) that takes prayer requests throughout the week
- Visitation team- spend time with those who are homebound
- Bereavement team – minister to those who are grieving
- Nursing home worship team – regularly scheduled visits to provide worship and lead Bible study in a local nursing home
- Work with children – share the love of Christ with children through the Sunday morning programs or the Wednseday evening Pioneer Club
- Work with youth – encourage the middle school and high school youth by leading a small group or working with them on Sunday mornings and evenings or Wednesday evenings
- Assist in church office during the week – answer phones and do light clerical tasks during the weekday office hours
- Sunday information table set-up/take down – assist by putting up the information tables before 8am service or taking them down after the 10:45am service
- Music & drama ministry – choir, soloists, band, sound tech, Mediashout (Powerpoint) and drama
