The prayer quilt ministry began to honor the life of member and dear friend Debbie Thomas who lost her battle with cancer in 2006.
On selected Mondays, the group meets at the home of Lin Homan to create quilts to be given to members and friends of First Lutheran Church who are in need of comfort and healing. When the quilt is complete our members are asked to tie the thread ties and offer a prayer of healing for the quilt recipient.
