What is MOPS? It's Mothers of PreSchoolers - your special place designed to meet your needs. Guest speakers offering encouragement and ideas, small group discussions, and creative activities are a part of each month's meeting. Our monthly program meets the second Friday of each month, September through May from 9:30 to 11:30am. The prayer quilt ministry began to honor the life of member and dear friend Debbie Thomas who lost her battle with cancer in 2006.

On selected Mondays, the group meets at the home of Lin Homan to create quilts to be given to members and friends of First Lutheran Church who are in need of comfort and healing. When the quilt is complete our members are asked to tie the thread ties and offer a prayer of healing for the quilt recipient.

A monthly luncheon for widows and single woman. Each month, on the second Tuesday, this group meets at the Coco's restaurant at 2nd & Main Street in El Cajon. The group meets for devotion and lunch.
